EA Games on the iSlate

EA is currently working on several games. These games should be delivered soon to include them with the latest Apple gadget, the iSlate. Apple is busy with their new tablet PC which should be an unique combination of playing music, reading books and newspapers and watching TV and video. Also playing games is now added to the feature list.

Apple confirms nothing, denies nothing. They keep everything around the new iSlate strictly secret. On January 27 is expected to break this silence since Apple is organizing an event for which many have been invited. Apple wants the iSlate to reach a wide audience range. Not only businessmen, but also the children and whole families have to make use of the iSlate.

Also, Apple in talks with CBS and Walt Disney TV for a monthly subscription offering in the iSlate. There are many conversations going and the exact outcome is not yet known. Apple put much time and effort to ensure that multiple individuals within a household can use the tablet. The device has the ability to “sticky notes” with messages for other users on the screen. iSlate default search engine: Bing?

It looks like Bing is going to be the default search engine at Apple. This means that on the new iSlate Bing is going to be the default search result when using the new gadget. It’s a new step in the fierce competition between search engines Google and Bing. Bing is committed to steal more market share from Google.

Currently Google is the default search engine on the Apple iPhone and other gadgets. Since last summer there are plenty of negotiations going on all around Apple’s new default search engine. Apple is currently the producer of the most popular smartphones in the world. This gives Microsoft a huge share on if negotiations are successfully pursued.

Apple has chosen Microsoft as their default search engine to compete with the arrival of the Nexus One. With the arrive of the new Google webphone (Nexus One) Google has become one of the largest competitors for Apple. Probably next week there will be more information if Bing actually will become the default search engine in the new Apple iSlate.
