It looks like Bing is going to be the default search engine at Apple. This means that on the new iSlate Bing is going to be the default search result when using the new gadget. It’s a new step in the fierce competition between search engines Google and Bing. Bing is committed to steal more market share from Google.

Currently Google is the default search engine on the Apple iPhone and other gadgets. Since last summer there are plenty of negotiations going on all around Apple’s new default search engine. Apple is currently the producer of the most popular smartphones in the world. This gives Microsoft a huge share on if negotiations are successfully pursued.

Apple has chosen Microsoft as their default search engine to compete with the arrival of the Nexus One. With the arrive of the new Google webphone (Nexus One) Google has become one of the largest competitors for Apple.
